As I looked out my window this morning and stared at the seven inches of snow in my yard, I wondered what I should do with my time before my two children decided to wake up. It dawned on me that I have been wanting to set up a blog for sometime. So, here I am posting my first blog. This a place for me to share pieces of me that create the puzzle I call life. Only, I am not sure what the ending picture is supposed to look like!
That's okay...each day I make decisions and do things that feel right. If what I do fits, then great. If not, then I try again.
As mentioned in my "About Me", I am a mom and a wife. I have two beautiful kids; my son Sean is
two and my daughter Haley is six months. My husband Andrew is one of my best friends and my teammate in parenthood and life. But, most importantly I am Leanne. This blog will chronicle my adventures in maintaining the balance of tending to me and tending to my domestic activities. As a stay-at-home mom, the domestic duties tend to snowball all day, which can leave me feeling trapped. Feeling trapped makes me cranky! So I make a focused effort to take care of me, thus making me a better wife and better mom...not to mention a more pleasant person to be around!
